Does anyone know if Vanessa Bruno is gay? I really hope so. I totally want to somehow make her love me, end up a part of her life, have some cute adopted babies from Timbuktu (Brangelina style) and get to wear her entire AW10 collection.
I’m sure my boyfriend will understand.

Is that a knitted leotard? Oh yes.
It’s a little bit dancer, a little bit country and a little bit lovely.
Vanessa, I am yours.

Oh hi.
Look what arrived on my doorstep today….

Yeah baby. New trousers.
These babies deserve a big fat 10 on the how-much-do-you-love-your-trousers-o’meter (did I just say that? blah).

They are wine coloured, soft, high waisters. What more could I ask for? Oh yeah, a good price…. DONE.
I got them for a ridiculous sale price of £9.99. yehaaaaaa! And there are still some left, so click here if you want some too.
vintage hat, polo neck jumper from H&M, vintage belt, trousers from Urban Outfitters, shoes by Asos.

News of Carine Roitfeld (the editor of French Vogue) and her team being banned from Balenciaga’s Paris show, hit the fashion world with a bang last Thursday. And although reasons for the blacklisting have not been divulged, it is reported that the French owned fashion house will not be submitting any garments for editorials in the magazine.
Now I know that this crazy industry is no stranger to gossip and controversy but somehow this time it feels so much worse.
Why?
Because the Balenciaga AW10 collection was devastatingly good…. I actually feel sad for the readers of French Vogue. For they will be missing out on these pieces of perfection…

At Paris Fashion Week, something remarkable happened yesterday, as Lanvin sent their AW10 collection down the warehouse runway embellished with statement jewels.

Strong, fierce (not in the Tyra sense) and completely lust-worthy.

I adore my vintage fedora hat… Once I have it on, I never want to take it off.

Because fashion needs constant nourishment, finding something new is always exciting and leaves me with a belly full of appreciation and inspiration.
At the On/Off presentations during fashion week, there were a few beef steaks amongst all of the streaky bacon (if you get my rather-meat-orientated drift) and one of those steaks came in the form of ‘Stardust’.
Stardust is the name of the AW10 collection from Simon Ekrelius and what a beautiful collection it is…
A silk-fest (silk marocaine, silk organza, yarn silk) and a print feast – It is impossible to deny Simon’s talent. He creates intelligent, confident and unashamedly modern pieces.

Stocked in London, Italy and China. See his website foe more info.

After finally going through dozens of goody bags from fashion week shows and press parties of the past month or so, I’ve discovered lots of new beauty treats that I don’t know how how lived without before!
First up is this super easy to use Fat Cat Lashes mascara by MeMeMe. When I’m just popping over to Sainsbury’s or opening the door to a cute delivery guy, this is the mascara of choice. With two quick applications, it gives a subtle lift and natural definition to the lashes.
Oh, and the leopard print packaging is also a winner.

“Knock knock”
“Who’s there?”
“Mr cute delivery guy”
“Oooh hang on a minute. Just applying some Fat Cat to my lashes”
